These terms cover your use of katanyxislabs.com, including Forum 81 BBS and the shop. We have kept them in plain language, and we encourage you to actually read them. By using the site, you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund and Returns Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Who can use the site
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or post. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission to buy anything.
Your account
- Give a real email address you can access. We use it for sign-in, password resets, and order emails.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One account per person, please.
- Usernames can’t be changed after sign-up, and can’t impersonate someone else or be offensive.
- You can ask us to delete your account any time on the Help us improve page.
Forum 81 BBS and your posts
- You own what you post. By posting, you give us permission to store, display, and keep your post on the site (for example, so a thread still makes sense after others reply). This permission is free, worldwide, and lasts while the post is on the site.
- Only post things you have the right to share.
- Forum posts are public. Don’t post anything you wouldn’t want the whole internet to read.
- Follow the Forum Rules. In short: be decent, no doxxing (never post anyone’s private information), nothing illegal, no spam.
- We can edit, move, or remove posts and suspend or ban accounts that break these terms or the Forum Rules.
- Advice on the forum comes from other members, not from us. Use it at your own risk, especially for anything involving electricity, batteries, or machines.
Things you may not do
- Break the law, or help someone else break it.
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone.
- Upload malware or try to break into, overload, or disrupt the site.
- Scrape the site in bulk or use bots to create accounts or posts.
- Use the site to send spam or advertising.
The shop
- Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added at checkout where required.
- Payment is handled by PayPal. You can check out as a guest or with an account.
- Our items are 3D printed to order or in small batches. Each one is made by hand, so small differences in color, layer lines, and finish are normal and are not defects.
- Lead times vary and are shown on the product page or at checkout. Shipping times are estimates.
- If a price or listing is wrong, or we can’t make an item, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
- Our items are decorative and are not toys. Keep small items away from young children and pets.
- Returns and refunds are covered by the Refund and Returns Policy.
Digital files
If you buy a model file (such as an STL), it is licensed for the use stated on the product page. Unless the page says otherwise, it is for personal use only, and you may not resell or share the file.
Our content
The site’s text, images, designs, and original files belong to Katanyxis Labs unless noted otherwise. You are welcome to link to our pages and quote short parts with credit. Projects we release as open source are covered by the license published with them.
Copyright complaints
If you think something on the site infringes your copyright, email Adam@katanyxislabs.com with: what the work is, where it appears on our site, your contact details, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorized. We will review it and remove the material if appropriate.
Links to other sites
We link to other websites and services. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.
No warranty
The site, the forum, and any free content (guides, docs, files) are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Follow guides and build projects at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Katanyxis Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Ending your access
You can stop using the site and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. If you have a problem, please email us first; most issues can be sorted out quickly. Any dispute that can’t be resolved that way will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the last change. If a change is significant, we will post a notice on the site.
